Know Your Maple Syrup Diet Recipe
Posted in Diet Recipe Tips on Mar 08,2010

The Maple Syrup diet is so called because one of its main ingredients is the Maple Syrup. It is also well known by another name- The Master Cleanse Diet.

This is done for 10 days and cleans the body from toxins that have accumulated in the system due to bad food choices, fast paced lifestyle and many other factors. Each one of us carries pollutants to a certain degree. To help eliminate these unwanted settlers in the human body, this type of diet plan will be most recommended.

Ingredients of the Maple Syrup Diet can be easily found in any grocery shop nearest you. Never substitute them for ingredients which may seem similar because you might end up not getting the result that you expect. The ingredients are energy boosting and can help you become healthy because it detoxifies your system.
Follow this recipe of the Maple Syrup Diet:
A single serve –

  • Two tbsp of fresh lemon or lime juice (about one half of a whole lemon). Non-organic lemons are not allowed, only fresh organic. Likewise, do not use canned products that are full of flavorings and color enhancers that are all chemical based.
  • Two tbsp of Grade B pure maple Syrup (it should never be substituted for A or C Grade maple syrup)
  • One tenth tsp of cayenne pepper or red pepper
  • Ten ounces of purely filtered water

Serving for 1 day –

  • around more than one half tsp of cayenne pepper equivalent to one tenth tsp each glass (according to your taste)
  • Twelve tbsp of organic grade B maple syrup equivalent to two tbsp each glass
  • Twelve tbsp newly juiced lemon (must be organic) equivalent to two tbsp each glass
  • Sixty ounces of purely filtered water each day to be taken sparingly six times of ten ounce glasses.

In a ten ounce glass, mix the juice, maple syrup and the cayenne pepper with hot water (should be not too hot for sipping). If you want, you may use cold water. Drink it all up with no leftover.
Since solid foods are not allowed while on the diet, constipation is most likely to occur. To avoid this problem, laxative tea is taken before bedtime, complemented by the salted water in the morning. This serves as the flush down enema to eliminate waste materials in the intestines.
If you are asking what the cayenne pepper can contribute to the diet, it loosens up the blood stream to allow a better blood circulation. When the blood flow accelerates, toxic wastes get eliminated more rapidly.

Some people are incapable of tolerating the hot taste of cayenne pepper. Cayenne capsules are a convenient option. Take it along with every glass of the lemonade mix that you drink.
If you are interested in doing the Maple Syrup Diet, do not hesitate because the ingredients are not hard to find and the preparation procedure is not hard to follow. More importantly, you will reap the good result of the diet by having strong resistance to illness and a body with sound condition.
