The Best Recipes for Colon Cleansing Diet
Posted in Diet Recipe Tips on Mar 08,2010

It is very important to keep the colon in good condition simply because the risk of developing malignancies from toxins and its residues in the stomach can lead to life threatening diseases.

To maintain a healthy stomach, it should be always kept clean by way of a colon cleansing diet. To complement the diet, there are available recipes that are very simple and easy to prepare with ingredients that are not hard to find.

There are several considerations when looking for the right recipe for the colon flush, such as:

  • Prepare a list of recipes to choose from. Select the best one that you think suits your lifestyle and requirements. Stay away from recipes that you think you will not be comfortable with.
  • Make sure that the diet contains highly fibrous ingredients. Herbs and greens have proven to be very effective in colon flush so the recipe should include a considerable amount of this kind.
  • All ingredients must consist of organic foods only. The cleansing is intended primarily to rid the digestive system of toxins.  Avoid foods that contain chemicals that enhance flavors and colors. The same is true in non-organic food which are toxic and been stored in the body for many years. So why waste time in going back to the same eating style that is harmful to the body.
  • Finally, put emphasis on fruits and vegetables. Experience from the past show that these are the safest and most reliable in terms of cleaning the digestive system. They act as sweepers of all the dirt littering the street ways of the body’s intestinal tract.
  • Exert diligent effort to search for books, references and diet recipe materials that can be used in helping decide on the best recipe. Many websites on the internet are available providing relevant information about the colon cleansing diet.

There are findings that nutritional properties (like vitamins and minerals) from fruits and vegetables are diminished when cooked. It is best to eat them fresh and raw to maximize the healthful nourishment they contain.

Here are two recipes examples for this diet:

Lemon Diet Ingredients

  • Two tablespoon of lemon juice or 1 piece of lemon
  • Two tablespoons of Pure Grade Maple Syrup
  • Twelve ounces of medium hot purified water
  • 1/10 teaspoon of red cayenne pepper
  • A single serving of fiber food (in powder form)

Drink at once after mixing
Colon Cleanse Soup Ingredients

  • Two to Three fresh cucumber, remove skin
  • One pc. Jalapeno
  • One to Two tomatoes cut in cubes
  • One teaspoon parsley
  • One teaspoon cilantro
  • Two cups of organic vegetable broth
  • Three roasted garlic cloves
  • One quarter lime juice
  • One sweet onion roughly chopped

This can be eaten raw or pureed for easy digestion. It can be served hot or cold, whichever way you want is fine.

As an added health precaution, eat as much fruits and vegetables as possible and begin a healthy lifestyle. Perform a regular colon cleanse to avoid toxic accumulation. And most of all eat healthy and enjoy a long life.
