Orange Cloud Salad Recipe

“It’s a two in one dish, a salad or a dessert!”
INGREDIENTS
2 – 3 ounce packages orange gelatin
1 cup boiling water
1 pint orange sherbet
1 cup miniature marshmallows
1 – 11 ounce can mandarin oranges, drained
1 – 8 ounce can crushed pineapple, drained
1 cup fat-free whipped topping
Mint leaves
DIRECTIONS
- In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
- Add the sherbet and stir until melted.
- Add the remaining ingredients except mint leave and stir well.
- Spoon into dessert glasses and refrigerate until firm.
- Garnish with sprigs of mint leaves.

Raspberry Applesauce Salad Recipe

“It’s an easy to prepare salad which compliment your meal.”
INGREDIENTS
1 – 3 ounce package raspberry gelatin
1 cup boiling water (yes that is all)
1 cup applesauce
1 – 10 ounce frozen raspberries (all) Birdseye works well
DIRECTIONS
- Dissolve gelatin in a boiling water.
- Add applesauce and frozen raspberries.
- Place in refrigerator and chill until firm.

7-Up® Salad Recipe

“It’s an old type of low fat salad which can really satisfy your appetite.”
INGREDIENTS
1 – 8 ounce can crushed pineapple
1 cup hot water
1 – 3 oz. package lime Jell-O®
1 – 8 oz. package fat-free cream cheese
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
7 oz. 7-Up®
DIRECTIONS
- Drain the pineapple juice into measuring cup; add enough water to juice to make 1 cup and bring to boil.
- Pour into blender and add gelatin and cheese.
- Blend on medium speed about 2 minutes until cheese is thoroughly blended.
- Add sugar, vanilla and 7-Up®. Blend on high speed for 1 minute.
- Add pineapple and mix 1 minute on low speed.
- Pour into mold and chill in refrigerator approximately 5 hours

Bing Cherry Salad Recipe

“It’s a great treat for Holiday Meal.”
INGREDIENTS
1 cup pecans, chopped (optional)
2 – 3 oz. packages cherry Jell-O®
1 large can bing cherries (reserve liquid)
1 – 20 oz. can crushed pineapple (reserve liquid)
2 – 3 oz. packages fat-free cream cheese
16 ounces Cola
DIRECTIONS
- Drain the cherries and pineapple; save juice.
- Bring juice to a boil.
- Dissolve Jell-O® in juice.
- Cool to room temperature.
- Add fruit and nuts.
- Break cheese into chunks and add to cooled gelatin mixture.
- Add cola and stir, and then chill until firm.
