All Fruit Smoothie Recipe

“This recipe is a combination of any fruit juice or fruit.”

INGREDIENTS   

1 quart strawberries, rinsed and hulled (can also use frozen unsweetened)
1 cup fresh pineapple, in chunks
2 peaches
1 cup orange pineapple juice
2 cups ice

DIRECTIONS 

  • Combine strawberries, banana and peaches in a blender.
  • Blend until fruit is pureed and then blend in the juice.
  • Add ice and blend to desired consistency.
  • Pour into glasses and serve.
  • Note: may use your favorite fruit combinations. Any fruit will do namely:  blueberries, kiwi, papaya, mango, raspberries, bananas or ripe nectarines.

Peachy Smoothie Recipe

“It’s a combination of luscious flavor with tangy fruits that surely end your quest to find the best drink!”

INGREDIENTS   

1 – 5.5 ounce can apricot fruit nectar
1 medium ripe banana, frozen and cut into slices or chunks
1 cup fat-free vanilla yogurt
2 cups sliced fresh or frozen peaches (no sugar added)
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. honey
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
6 ice cubes

DIRECTIONS 

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor.
  • Cover and process until smooth.
  • Pour into glasses; serve immediately.

Cranberry Pineapple Cooler Recipe

“It’s a unique drink that would satisfy your thirst!”

INGREDIENTS   

2 cups cranberry juice
1 cup pineapple juice
1 cup orange juice
1 – 4 ounce jar maraschino cherries
2 tbsp. lemon juice
12 fluid ounces ginger ale

DIRECTIONS 

  • Combine cranberry juice, pineapple juice, orange juice, cherry juice and lemon juice in a gallon pitcher.
  • Just before serving, slowly add ginger ale; stir to blend.
  • Serve over ice in cups or glasses.
  • Garnish with cherries and/or orange slices

    Strawberry Limeade Recipe

    “It’s a summer drink!”

    INGREDIENTS   

    1-1/2 cups quartered fresh strawberries
    1 cup fresh or bottled lime juice
    4 cups water
    1-1/2 cups sugar or Splenda® or other sugar substitute*
    6 small whole strawberries or lime wedges (optional)

    DIRECTIONS 

    • Blend strawberries and lime juice in blender or food processor until smooth.
    • Combine strawberry mixture, water and sugar substitute in pitcher.
    • Pour over ice cubes in tall glasses;
    • Garnish each with strawberry or lime wedge, if desired.
    • Note: Amount of sugar or sweetener needed may vary due to the sweetness of the strawberries. Start with a smaller amount and sweeten to taste

    Coffee Coolers Recipe

    INGREDIENTS   

    2 tbsp. instant coffee granules
    1/4 cup boiling water
    1/4 cup honey
    1 cinnamon stick
    1/4 cup cold water
        Ice cubes
    4 cups 2% low-fat milk

    DIRECTIONS 

    • Dissolve coffee granules in boiling water in medium bowl; add honey and mix well.
    • Add cinnamon stick and stir in cold water; refrigerate.
    • Fill 4 tall glasses with ice cubes.
    • Add 3 tablespoons coffee concentrate and fill each glass with 1 cup milk

    Juice Sparkler Recipe

    INGREDIENTS   

    1 quart cherry juice blend
    2 cups red grapefruit juice
    3 tbsp. honey
    3 tbsp. grenadine syrup
    2 cups lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled
       Maraschino cherries, for garnish (optional)

    DIRECTIONS 

    • Combine thoroughly the cherry juice blend, grapefruit juice, honey and grenadine.
    • Let chill, then add carbonated beverage.
    • Serve over ice.
    • Garnish with maraschino cherries, if desired.

    Cherry Slush Recipe

    “It’s a delightful drink…Enjoy!”

    INGREDIENTS   

    2 cups water
    1 cup granulated sugar
    2 cups frozen unsweetened tart cherries
    1 – 6 ounce can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed, undiluted
    2 tbsp. lemon juice
    1 – 2 liter bottle lemon-lime carbonated beverage, chilled

    DIRECTIONS 

    • Combine cherry juice blend and sugar in a medium saucepan.
    • Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until sugar dissolves and mixture boils.
    • Reduce heat; simmer 3 minutes. Remove from heat.
    • Combine cherries, orange juice concentrate and lemon juice in electric blender or food processor container.
    • Blend for 1 minute, or until cherries are puréed.
    • Combine cherry mixture and sugar mixture in a 6-cup freezer container; mix well.
    • Cover tightly; freeze for 5 hours or overnight.
    • Remove cherry mixture from freezer 30 minutes before serving.
    • Put 1/4 cup slush in each glass; add 1/2 cup carbonated beverage to each glass.
    • Serve immediately.
    • Freeze remaining slush for later use.

    Mochaccino Recipe

    “It’s a luscious mix of coffee and cocoa.”

    INGREDIENTS   

    1 1/2 cups 2% low-fat milk
    4 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
    2 tbsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 cup hot coffee, French or espresso roast preferred
       Unsweetened cocoa powder for sprinkling on Garnish

    DIRECTIONS 

    • Combine milk, cocoa powder, sugar and cinnamon in saucepan over medium heat.
    • Heat, whisking constantly, until cocoa powder dissolves and mixture is hot. If measured with food thermometer, temperature will be about 140ºF.
    • Pour hot milk mixture into work bowl of food processor fitted with steel knife.
    • Process for 30 seconds, until mixture is foamy. Including foam, there will be about 2 cups of hot mixture.
    • Pour 1/4 cup of hot coffee into each of 4 cups.
    • Slowly pour 1/4 of the mixture over each cup of coffee. The foam will remain on top of coffee.
    •  Sprinkle with cocoa powder and serve immediately.
    • Additional sugar may be added, if desired.

    INGREDIENTS   

    4 cups cranberry juice cocktail
    4 cups apple cider
    1/4 cup honey
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon

    DIRECTIONS   

    • Bring all ingredients to a boil in a large saucepan.
    • Lower heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
    • Serve hot.
