Lose Weight Fat! Try the Cabbage Soup Diet Recipe

Patience is a virtue. So the saying goes. But when it comes to weight loss, we tend to lose this virtue because we want to see results immediately. Do not lose hope because the cabbage soup diet is the right one for you. You only need seven days to do this and right after said period, you can decide to swiftly change to another diet of your choice to maintain your body weight.

This is best when you have an upcoming event to attend and you want to be slimmer quickly. For more convenience there are diet pills in health shops if you do not have time to cook or you find the taste of cabbage unpleasant.

Calorie Content is Low

This diet contain minimal calorie amount. It is soup based and naturally watery giving a feeling of full stomach. Because of this, you do not feel hungry and can avoid overeating.

Your body may experience uneasiness at the onset of the diet due to low calorie intake. It may vary from feeling dizzy, lightheaded and weak. These as are all bearable and will last only while you are on the diet. It will be worth putting up with it because you will lose weight fast.

The diet is strictly observed for only one week and should not be done on a long term basis. This may be repeated but you should allow breaks in between doing it again. You may suffer from calorie deficiency because the ingredients of this diet are not sufficient to sustain your body for a prolonged period of time. Your body needs more nutrients than what is provided in this diet. The result you want to realize which is to lose weight could be altered if you stick to the program longer than what is needed. It will be harmful to your body.

If you choose to do the diet using cabbage capsules, you may look for them in the healthy shops nearest you. Do the following recipe:
What you need:

  • Six onions, large
  • Two pieces of green pepper
  • One or Two diced tomatoes in can
  • One bunch of celery
  • One packet of onion soup mix, Lipton Branch
  • One or Two bouillon cubes, optional
  • One whole cabbage
  • Water (V-8 juice is an option)

Cooking procedure:

  • Slice the onions, green pepper, celery and cabbage.
  • In a pot with enough water, put the sliced vegetables; add the canned tomatoes, onion soup mix and bouillon cubes.
  • Let boil for ten minutes and allow it to simmer until tender.
  • You may add flavor by seasoning the soup with any spice you desire like salt, pepper, garlic and the like.

The diet will definitely work for you if you follow the instructions carefully and adhere to the ingredients cautiously. Choose only the freshest of ingredients that you can find. You can get the most value in terms of nutritional value of your diet.

With the exception of bananas, you can eat all kinds of fruits and the cabbage soup on the first day. Drink only cranberry juice, tea with no sugar and water.

Eating all kinds of raw, fresh or cooked vegetables is allowed as much as you like.

Choose only high fiber green leafy vegetables. Dry beans, peas and corn are not allowed. Eat fruit instead.

Eating cabbage soup in as much quantity as you can take is encouraged. You can also drink skim milk sparingly. Also eat as many as 8 bananas.

Your cravings for sweet foods should be contained by eating this diet.

Eat ten to twenty oz. of beef plus fresh tomatoes of up to 6 pieces.

To flush down the uric acid in your body, you are required to drink a minimum of six to eight glasses of water.

You can now lose weight in no time at all. The Cabbage Soup Diet can help you shed off those extra pounds easy and fast. It is very simple and ingredients are widely available.
