Asparagus Polonaise Recipe

Food choices that make use of vegetables should be a priority when we serve dinner for our family. This special treat is the perfect food choice that we should aim for. Eat this asparagus recipe on its own or as a complementary side dish.

INGREDIENTS
* 1/4 cup butter or margarine
* 3 slices white or whole wheat bread, crumbled
* 1 hard-cooked egg, peeled and chopped
* 1/2 cup chopped parsley
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 2 pounds fresh asparagus, trimmed
DIRECTIONS
- Melt butter in a skillet and stir in the other ingredients in this recipe.
- Spread this mixture over cooked asparagus.
